The Iranians (1979)

On January 16 1979, the Shah fled Iran.
This cartoon was done one week later.
Ayatollah Khomeini would not return to Iran until February 1, but he was already popping off about wiping Israel off the map.

The question about the Iranian Revolutionary Islamic attitude towards the "Occupied Moslem Territories" of Europe has yet to be answered.
